I saw this on a friend’s old floral metal recipe tin, that belonged to her late mother. I thought it was absolutely charming so thought I would share it!

Watch.....listen.... enjoy and share the awesome talent of Jessie J and Sir Tom Jonees
Here you can see Jen with her son Brennan, who has been a model of inspiration himself, as after breaking his leg he had to undergo an amputation due to an infection.
Together, Jen and Brennan trusted they would help each other deal with this and I am delighted to share that Brennan is proving every day what a remarkable young man he is – and yes, his mom is VERY proud!
Over the past year as my friends and I, here on Open Lounge have been exploring our own life paths, we have often discussed the importance of truth, authenticity and trust.
When was the last time you felt passionate? About anything?
I am not talking about feeling passionate about someone – when did you last jump out of bed in the morning excited about your day?
Do you feel excited or challenged by anything in your life at this moment in time? Would you like to be?
The basic instinct for many people is to crave security and stability, especially financially. Would you do your current job if you knew you could thrive financially doing something you love? I would guess, probably not.
Would you dare to write the book you dream of writing, build your dream house, rally behind a humanitarian cause you care deeply about? Well... you could... you can!
My understanding is passion and creativity go hand in hand or in my opinion – energetically, they could be the same thing.
‘There are deer everywhere. DEER CROSSING signs sprinkle the roads, and we often have to stop while driving along the country roads to let the sweet creatures cross over. Deer are beautiful, gentle, and majestic. Their eyes are so wide, trusting, and innocent, and it feels like they are blessing you with their grace when you get to look for a moment into those big, black pools.’
During recent Lunar Game’s here on Open Lounge many of us have observed and shared how being heart centered and tuning into the ‘intelligence’ we feel in our hearts, seems to provide wise guidance.
By this I mean, that when we allow ourselves to bring our attention to how we FEEL about something, a situation or person rather than what we think a very interesting shift in energy happens.
Since our Open Lounge Event in Mojacar in October 2011 I have chosen to tune into how I feel about things and truly connect with that ‘vibration’ before I make any choices or decisions. This process has led me to, essentially, follow inspired thought with immediate inspired action.
Why was I falling? I wasn’t aware of dreaming about anything frightening or feeling stressed when I was falling asleep. The falling into the abyss came out of nowhere.
Do I wish to go deeper into the shadowlands but resisting an impulse from my subconscious?
Is it symbolic of me feeling out of control?
Today, during a conversation with a friend I recalled this Billy Connolly sketch
wildebeest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vItQtTZTcAk
Watching it again made me laugh out loud! As I am laid up recovering from bronchitis it really cheered me up.
So I decided to take a wee trip down comedy memory lane and thought I would share with you some of my Mirth Medicine!
You are the open door into a place of safety,
when there is no home for someone like me.
You are the warm embrace that holds me tight,
when death and terror stalk the night.
What the world needs today is our compassion.
What the world needs today is our compassion.
Lyrics in support of The Insanity Tour
This photo captured one of those moments in my life where I was deeply in love and so blissfully happy.
There is something about desert environments I love, this was at the Al Maha resort in Dubai, yet I also loved my time in the high desert of Sante Fe and Taos, New Mexico and at the foot of the Atlas mountains in Morroco.
