One Question, Infinite Answers

This month’s Lunar Game comes to us courtesy of Walker’s inspired thoughts and ideas. This is my adaptation.

As we go about our daily lives, we are constantly confronted with the opportunity to share our stories and experiences with others. Mostly, we enter into banal and worthless exchanges that add little to nothing to our lives – “Hi, how are you, good, how are you, fine thanks, nice weather, yes, better than last week, all that rain was good for the begonias though” - and all that crap!

This month’s Lunar Game asks that we treat these opportunities as precious jewels, and fully engage in the moment with a genuine spirit of curiosity. For me, this is the secret to re-discovering one’s compassion – to bring intense curiosity into your moment and a big fat YES to life as it shows up!

Walker reminds us that a genuine, agenda-less, expansive question, posed from the heart, is a key that opens a door into a space of exploration and mystery.

The Rules!

1. Sit in a quiet space, relax and enter altered state if you know how to do that. If not, just be as peaceful as you can manage in the moment.

Imagine you have the opportunity to ask just ONE question of all of humanity – what would you ask?

2. Every day of this Lunar Cycle, ask one person your question. During the month, ask your question to at least 2 complete strangers.

3. If it’s appropriate, post the answer in the comments, and also post whatever is going on for you during the process.

4. Expect to have a REALLY interesting month!

David, time’s running out, buddy...
Your final question ‘d better be a good one !

Alison, your transformation was felt in my soul, and so was Soulsista’s.
I know both of you have followed your heart in making your decisions, whatever and how difficult they may have been. By doing that, you have followed the path shown to you by the universe, and reading that this game has contributed to the process, brings warmth and joy in my world.

P.s.: I went to the local bookshop today to order the Big Blue dvd. I’ll have it next week..:smile:

OK, I asked both my parents my question tonight since they are over for xmas.

The question is what would you do if you didn’t need to work for money?, or some variation of that.

Both parents replied in a similar fashion to just about every person I have ever asked this question to (a lot!)

1. Party (for a bit)
2. Travel (for a bit more)
3. Help others/Contribute

Answers vary in detail and particulars, but it is almost always this kind of response.

It’s no surprise to me, which is probably why I didn’t go all out to ask the question over and over again -- I like being surprised.

So the lesson, at the end of 30 days, is that I should have thought of another question to ask that caused surprises

Oh have to be honest guys and say I don’t have a clue about .......most things including what I really got out of this months Lunar Game- However ask me what I felt that is a different question. I felt deep seated emotion that bordered on despair and moments of dark and suicidal thoughts and feelings. Clarity emerged one moment to be deeply buried into total confusion and despair again.

I answered my own question (s) two nights ago. I find myself alone by choice for the first time in 48 earth years at this festive time of year. I do not feel festive at all,there is no Christmas magic or spirit present, yet I feel deeply satisfied,in the fact that Shelley is within her own family and the two boys are in the center of a loving warm and kind hearted family.

My spirit does feel considered and moving into a peaceful state full of love and grace. So Walker thank you for being the creator of this special months lunar game and for your wonderful energy and contribution. David, Ali, Shelley and T (Soulsista)thank you for your physical and emotional energy and support. Enjoy your families and friends at this special time of year.

If each of you were to wake up and find yourself in pitch black darkness. In a place that smells unfamiliar and you feel cold because you are naked. How would you feel?

If in that space of nothingness you could choose to bring into your world your deepest heartfelt desires.... what would you create in your NEW WORLD?

What would it look like? Who would be in it? What would you do?

This Christmas give birth to your true self... give 1st breath to the authentic you... and let us all celebrate on this NEW MOON a new life cycle for each of us and all the magical possibilities this could create.
