This Lunar Game commences on Sunday 20th May and the inspiration for it came from the talented neo-shaman, Darpan who is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Australia.

We are experiencing many changes on many levels and as individuals one practise, I believe, helps us stay grounded, healthy and confident is daily meditation.
Now, many of you may think this means spending a long time crossed legged in silence, and whilst that is one kind of meditative practise it is not something most people could do on a daily basis.
Darpan’s lyric – practise humble trust and remain fearless truly resonated with me for the very reason it is so challenging for most of us to achieve.
Yet, from experience I have seen how the daily habit of mindfullness and meditative practise truly helps people shine with vibrant health, vitality and joy.
If you would like to learn how to manage stress more effectively try this easy and quick practise.
When you are feeling agitated, upset or stressed take a moment, no more than 1-2 minutes, and sit down, close your eyes and take 4-6 gentle slow inhalations and exhalations. Focus on your breath.... breathing in and out gently and easily.
As you breath in visualise being somewhere beautiful and peaceful, imagine what you see, hear and feel. A favourite of mine is to visualise myself walking along a beach, the warm sea water washing over my feet. Feeling the sun on my face and hearing the sound of sea birds carried on the gentle breeze.
This simple practise calms down your heart rate, calms you down emotionally and helps oxiginate your blood more effectively. When we are stressed we become tense and our breathing becomes restricted and shallow. This form of meditative practise is a great place to start if you have never done any form of meditation before.
My interpretation of Diamond Consciousness is one’s ability to open up the 7th crown chakra and connect to Great Spirit to Universal Consciousness which I call The Void.
Darpan again, through the use of song, words and sound creates a wonderful experience that can help you connect with higher consciousness whilst being mindful of remaining grounded.
So, for this Lunar Game share your ideas for daily meditative pratise and how it is helping you in your day to day life.
Together through unity of mind and consciousness, magical change is inevitable and we are living in a time where humanity is truly learning to wake up. How exciting!!! :-)
Respectfully, Alison
Perfect Ali, simple and to the point. Meditation to me used to remain a mystery, something that other people knew about, but not me. Over the last 10 years I have had the valuable experience of being introduced and practicing many different forms of meditations all of which have helped me understand there is no secret.
Due to the influence of my close buddy David I have also had the opportunity of being introduced to some other modalities so may well be using some of those also in this months Lunar game.
Thanks Ali for being bold and stepping into this place and offering us all the chance to play again in this wonderful space of OL within the Lunar game. Will be back soon to share my next meditation journey.

Game on!
What an amazing experience I had last night. I offered to help out a local charity (F.O.B.S) Friends of Barley School which is the school our youngest son Taylor goes to. Every year F.O.B.S run and organise a number of events to help raise funds for the school. This evening Saturday 19th May is the 23rd running of the annual Barley Ball. Shelley has organised a table for some local friends to attend and I was asked If I would be willing to baby sit the marque (Large Tent) last night. So at 21.00 I turned up with my sleeping bag fold up bed, lap top (for music) flask of coffee two bottles of water and some snacks, with my Sudko book and ingredients for a good time. I got the chance to journey by myself inside this big tent. What a time I had, Tai Ji practice on the dance floor, dancing to Darpan and other shaman style music, I wrote 20 pages of insightful notes which having re-read this morning most of them make sense. Plus on top they paid me 50.00 for the privilege.
Different kind of meditation, but boy was it worth it!!
